So, just to add a little to the fun this year, the team with the best "TEAM GREEN" attire will be getting a prize in addition to the Championship shirts and other prizes! Let's show Sam how "GREEN" we can be!!!

Hey Ya'll! In addition to a cash prize and shirts for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams, there will be prizes for the following...Best Team T-shirt, Block-a-holic(best blocker) and MVP of the tournament!!! Also everyone that votes will be able to enter in to win 2 movie tickets to Rivercities Cinema in EGF!!! Whoo wee fun stuff!!!

We are very excited about this year and really looking forward to a great turn-out!  We are having more (and softer) sand delivered this year as well as a few other nice little perks coming your way!!!  Hurry and get your teams together.  Spots are filling up quick and the tournament will be here before ya know it!!!

Hey everyone:) Just wanted to send out a heads up to meet at the ice skating rink after the parade to draw for spots and for times your team will play. And if there are people who want to register at that time too for the tournament, we could work something out as long as time allows:)

And just a quick review...

-All teams must have 2 girls on the court at all times.

-There will be refs this year but they will be leanient. Just remember to stay off the net, no grabbing and throwing the ball down, and obvious carries and violations will be called. Refs have the final say. No video replays...hahaha!!!

-The tournament is double elimination so even if you lose one game, you still have the opportunity to take win it all!!!

-Teams will play one game to 30 with rally scoring. Teams will switch sides when a team reaches 15 points.

-So far, there are ten teams but the potential for 12.

-Please be respectful as there may be children and families present.

:DGood News Everyone:D

Sounds like we will be playing with our toes in the sand for the tournament!!!!   Whoo hoo!!!  Now we just have to work out the details so keep your fingers crossed!!!

So, big plans for this years tournament. Last year was awesome and we are hoping to make this year even better with more teams, possibly adding sand courts and making the tournament double elimination so every team has the possibility to play more than one team!!!! Also looking at adding more prizes such as a little something for the last place team, best team uniform and team spirit. And of course there will be a cash prize for the placing teams:)

If there is anyone willing to help me out also with some of the tournament related stuff, please feel free to let me know as well. I might need some back up considering I will be 8 months preggers at the time of the tournament. We may need some volunteers for the following...


*Building the courts if approved

*Being a ref/judge for prizes during the games

*Probably a million other things I can't think of now:)

2nd Annual Co-Ed

St. Thomas Daze Volleyball


Location: St. Thomas, ND (Ice-skating Rink)

Date: Saturday, June 19th

Playing Levels: All levels welcome Age: 14 years and up.

Fee: $40.00 per team and $10 for single/sub entry

Start time: 12pm. End time is determined upon number of teams registered.

Space is limited – sign up early!

Registration Deadline: Monday, June 1st

The tournament will be filled on a first come-first filled basis. Entry fee and registration form must be received by Monday, June 1st and all entry fees will be divided out to the top 2 teams.

Each team will play one game to

30 points (rally, win by two, no point cap) and guaranteed to play more than one team (double elimination).
